Who are we ?

We are a global asset manager overseeing €29.9bn on behalf of clients across Europe and Asia as at 31st March 2023.

Our story began in 2008. We launched as a specialist investment manager within the AXA Group with the goal to combine some of the best fund managers from around the world into diversified investment solutions. It’s this multi-manager approach, which enables us to partner with ‘best-in-class’ fund managers across a range of asset classes, investing in geographies around the world, and distributing these investments through AXA in many countries.

As an active investor, we manage investments internationally on behalf of institutional and retail clients. We strive to cut through investment complexity, so you don’t have to.

Choosing investments can be a daunting experience. That’s why, at Architas, we’ve simplified the process by offering a range of investment solutions to meet the varying needs of today’s investors. At every stage, our aim is to focus on delivering returns for clients and controlling the risks they are exposed to. Whether it’s achieving growth, generating an income or preserving wealth, we want to help our clients fulfil their investment aims.

Dedollarisation

Article | Market updates | 22/05/2023

Although seen by many as the ultimate safe haven currency, the global turmoil and geopolitical tensions of recent years have triggered a questioning of the US dollar’s dominance. This in turn has prompted predictions of a trend towards ‘dedollarisation’, as other countries reduce their reliance on the mighty greenback.

Article | Podcasts | 16/05/2023

Equity markets have spent the last month moving in a relatively narrow range. There seem to be multiple headwinds. Even before the regional banking crisis in the US, higher interest rates have curbed the demand for credit, while core inflation remains stubbornly high.

The US Federal Reserve (Fed) and the European Central Bank (ECB) both delivered 25 basis points interest rate hikes, although neither definitively indicated that this would be their final upward move. Meanwhile, First Republic, another mid-sized US bank, was taken over after being hit by massive deposit outflows.
